Kindly note that now since teachers are creating their own lessons on the Learn Pad, QR codes are needed to access different lessons from different teachers. For this reason, I am uploading today’s lesson for the Junior 5B, which will allow the students to see the given task to an end.
Assigned HW: Create and label the human skeleton using WorkSpace
Introducing SWAY as a new presentation tool. SWAY, similar to PPP but cooler!! It is an interactive Microsoft tool, which allows users to interact and discover hidden data/images within the presentation.
Linked to their Math lessons with Ms. Greta, the students are asked to re-visit the angles such as Acute, Obtuse, Opposite, Alternate, Angles on parallel lines… etc; and apply them in everyday life. They are to think outside the box and find real-life examples and present them in a SWAY creation.
Students are to keep it simple, yet interesting for others to view… so be creative, apply what you’ve learned and finally Print.
HW due next week, check Power school
Creating a prototype step counter to be eventually tested during a Physical Education activity. This is the Junior 6s Cross Curricular activity planned in line to their Physical Education lessons carried out with Miss Sefora.
Students are asked to design and sketch their proposed prototype, whilst keeping it simple enough to create it. This task is due next week, as on Thursday we will be focusing on the coding aspect of this activity.
Exploring and re-creating the Human skeleton using Learn Pads. So proud of their commitment and effort in seeing this task to an end. Now off for printing they go and displaying it is. Well done to all!!
